His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, yesterday launched the Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens, a huge project to preserve and protect the environment and increase green spaces in the country. The project, worth Dh200 billion, will be carried out by Dubai Properties, a member company of Dubai Holding. The total area of the project will be 880 million square foot, of which 73 per cent will be greenery.
